Can I make my own nursing necklace?

Certainly, You can make one yourself but please be sure to only use non-toxic plastic beads. Wood beads can splinter and glass beads can chip and break. Be sure your cording is quite strong so that the strand doesn't break and have beads fall all over the floor presenting a choking hazard. Hemp cording is known to get soggy, smelly and then easily breakable. Also be sure to use some sort of safety clasp to protect your child so your necklace is not a choking hazard or an accident waiting to happen.

As you can see I have taken great lengths to be sure that my nursing necklaces are safe for your little ones. It's much easier to purchase a nursing necklace that's already made for you then to attempt to find all the products to make one that is considered safe.
